A very special branded plant pot has been created especially for the Isle of Eigg Tree Nursery for 2025. Each Plant Pot and Saucer Set has its own individual marbled colour effect, with unique shades and patterns by using 100% recycled fishing net and rope collected from the beaches of Eigg in 2024.
By purchasing one of our unique batch plant pot and saucer sets, you are literally: ‘Growing awareness of plastic pollution’.
This inspiring Scottish beach clean recycling project is masterminded by the excellent work carried out by Alasdair Mitchell at Ocean Plastic Pots. “Together we can inspire the next generation, and get get our hands dirty while we work towards a better future. Plant Pot and Saucer dimensions: 11 cm high and 13cm diameter externally (12.5cm internal). The saucers are 15cm diameter external.
The Plant Pot and Saucer Set is incredibly durable and built to last. They can be used for your indoor house plants or for an outdoor pot. Each pot has a drainage hole in the centre avoiding water-logging plants. The Saucers are multi functioning and can be used as a lid for the Plant Pot, protecting seeds and bulbs from bird and rodent damage in the germination period when they are at their hungriest in spring.
