The Isle of Eigg Tree Nursery will plant a tree in our restoration woodlands on your behalf. Your tree will be planted alongside mature trees, helping to restore our ancient temporate rainforest, native or mature mixed species woodlands.
Your chosen tree will be a sapling grown from locally collected seed and will be one of a number of native species such as Alder, Birch, Bird Cherry, Hazel, Wych Elm or Rowan. Along with native species the restoration of our mature mixed species woodland areas will also include some non native species like Beech, Horse Chestnut and Field Maple.
By sponsoring a tree you will have a native tree planted in one of our woodland restoration projects in the Manse or Lodge Woods. The tree will be planted in March. You will be provided with an e-certificate or if you’d prefer a tree dedication e-certificate that can be given as a gift. A google map pin will also be provided to give you the location your tree will be planted.
